The Egyptian-Greek Friendship Association
Founded
in 1957, the Egyptian-Greek Friendship Association (EGFA) aims at
fostering friendship between the people of Greece and those of the Arab Republic
of Egypt, as well as friendly peoples everywhere, in the fields of
cultural, scientific and religious services
On
25/5/2003, the signatories representing the Association agreed to
establish the new
Egyptian-Greek
Friendship
Association*, with its renewed
mandate
:Through
its activities, the Association works towards the following
objectives
Working
to strengthen the bonds of friendship and strengthen ties and deepen
the foundations of cooperation between the Egyptian and Greek peoples
through
1 -
Exchange of means of culture and knowledge of books, publications,
social media and other means, between the bodies concerned in each
country and by all other means
2-
Organizing social gatherings, lectures and cultural seminars through
the Social Cultural Club of the Association
3 -
Dispatch and invite senior scientists, artists and writers to visit
the two countries and meet with their counterparts for cooperation
and exchange of opinion and thought. Disseminate their findings
through various means, including audio and visual media, on the
renaissance of ancient and modern Egypt and the development of
cultural and scientific exchanges

Holding archaeological and artistic exhibitions, concerts, theater,
musical, cinematic and sports performances

Organizing exhibitions to market the production goods, products of
productive families, small industries and others
6- Encourage the exchange of visits and trips for Egyptians and Greeks
to each others' countries, getting to know each others' communities,
historical monuments, installations and recent achievements in both
countries

Receiving the Greek visitors to the Arab Republic of Egypt and
assisting them in the means, guidance, visits and services in all
fields

Assist in boosting the fields of economic exchange in all available
ways between the two countries through the business committee of
the Association

Provide social services for members and their wives through the
Cultural and Social Club of the Society

- ميدان الصداقة بين شعب جمهورية مصر العربية والشعوب الصديقة.
- ميدان الخدمات الثقافية والعلمية والدينية
الأنشطة:
وسوف
تعمل الجمعية على تحقيق هذه الأغراض عن طريق العمل
على تقوية أواصر الصداقة وتعزيز الروابط
وتعميق أسس التعاون بين الشعبين المصري
واليوناني ولها في سبيل ذلك
- تبادل وسائل الثقافة والمعرفة من كتب ومطبوعات وشرائح وغيرها بين الهيئات المعنية في كل من البلدين وبكافة السبل.
- تنظيم تبادل اللقاءات الاجتماعية والمحاضرات والندوات الثقافية من خلال النادي الثقافي الاجتماعي بالجمعية.
- إيفاد ودعوة كبار العلماء والفنانين والكتاب لزيارة البلدين والالتقاء بنظرائهم للتعاون وتبادل الرأي والفكر فيما ؟؟؟؟ لهم من الأمور وبمختلف الوسائل المتاحة بما في ذلك وسائل الإعلام المسموعة والمرئية عن نهضة مصر القديمة والحديثة وتنمية مجالات التبادل الثقافي والعلمي.
- إقامة المعارض الأثرية والفنية والحفلات والعروض المسرحية والموسيقية والسينمائية والرياضية.
- إقامة المعارض لتسويق ما يعرض فيها من السلع الإنتاجية ومنتجات الأسر المنتجة والصناعات الصغيرة وغيرها.
- تشجيع تبادل الزيارات والرحلات للمصريين واليونانيين للتعرف على البلاد والمجتمعات والآثار التاريخية والمنشآت والمنجزات الحديثة في كلا البلدين.
- استقبال اليونانيين الوافدين لجمهورية مصر العربية ومعاونتهم فيما يحتاجون إليه من وسائل وإرشادات وزيارات وخدمات في كافة المجالات.
- تنشيط مجالات التبادل الاقتصادي بكل السبل الممكنة بين البلدين من خلال شعبة رجال الأعمال بالجمعية.
- تيسير الحج والعمرة وزيارة الأماكن المقدسة للأعضاء وأسرهم.
- تقديم خدمات النشاط الاجتماعي للأعضاء وزوجاتهم من خلال النادي الثقافي والاجتماعي بالجمعية.
